Societe Generale Securities Services in Italy obtains the national Certification UNI/PdR 125:2022 for gender equality
Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) in Italy, a key player in the securities services industry, takes another step forward on gender equality with the obtention of the Certification UNI/PdR 125:2022, confirming its ongoing and concrete commitment to reduce gender gaps and to create a fairer and more inclusive working environment.
The certification was based on an evaluation process considering six strategic assessment areas: culture and strategy, governance and human resources management processes, opportunities for growth and inclusion of women in business, gender pay equity, parental protection, and work-life balance. To achieve it, SGSS in Italy met 33 KPIs based on these criteria and identified and promoted a set of specific actions, as well as tools and processes to guarantee gender equality.
This certification, as well as the one obtained last year by the Winning Women Institute, are part of a broader Gender Equality project which the Bank has been focusing on in recent years and which has enabled SGSS in Italy to launch and develop a virtuous path of concrete initiatives for a working environment based on understanding, respect, and value for differences.
Valeria Dal Corso, CEO of SGSS in Italy, commented:
Ensuring Equal opportunities to everyone in the workplace is a key topic for us. Being certified UNI/PdR 125:2022 is another recognition of our commitment to develop an increasingly inclusive working environment. These good practices stimulate the whole organization to generate the virtuous behaviors necessary for a real cultural change and a better society.
