Partnership signed between Societe Generale Securities Services and Lumi Technologies
Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) and Lumi Technologies have signed a partnership aiming to ensure the long-term success of the tablet voting service and offer new remote voting services for General Meetings.
SGSS is a key player when it comes to Issuer Services, especially for handling General Meetings (GMs) for listed companies. At the request of SGSS, Lumi Technologies recently acquired the intellectual property and the stock of GM touchscreen voting tablets developed by SGSS with Italian manufacturer FeedbacK. Lumi will therefore be providing SGSS with the in-room voting service using the tablets that its customers are already familiar with, as well as adding to the SGSS product range with a new online real-time voting service.
Both groups are thrilled with this partnership, bringing together two major players in the handling of General Meetings in the French market to secure the operation and development of this system far into the future.
Richard Roger, Head of Issuer Services at SGSS:
“This partnership with Lumi, a specialist and long-time leader in real-time electronic voting for General Meetings, is a testament to the sustained performance of voting tablet technology in our service offering. The new online remote real-time voting function required for Hybrid GMs is also a clear confirmation of our capacity for innovation.”
François Lenormand, Managing Director of Lumi Technologies:
“This critical partnership serves to validate the strategy we launched back in 2016 to diversify real-time voting methods and make Hybrid GMs possible. In addition to incorporating tablets within our hardware offering, the fact that SGSS chose Lumi represents a crucial step in the implementation of this strategy.”
