FIDA regulation: a first step through the European Parliament

On April 18, 2024, the draft FIDA (financial data access) regulation was the subject of a compromise in Brussels: members of the Econ committee adopted a first version of the text, authorizing access to financial data. Access should not be limited to payment accounts but should encompass all customer data processed by financial institutions.
