Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) began operating in India in 2008 as SBI-SG, a joint venture with State Bank of India (SBI), one of India’s largest banks. SBI-SG is located in Mumbai. The range of services it provides has grown rapidly to meet the needs of both Indian and international banks. More particularly, these services include custody, clearing of listed derivatives and fund administration.

SGSS also has two operational centres in India, located in Bangalore and Chennai, dedicated to European activities.
